Why calibrate standards? Standard conditions may change over time because of corrosion, inter-metallics, migration, dirt, handling and mis-use.  This can cause a difference between actual coating thickness and the standards certified value.  Since this may lead to inaccurate measurements, yearly certification of standards is recommended.

Sample Testing Services:

Contact Eastern Applied if you have a difficult sample that requires testing or a one-time testing need.  Examples of sample testing service includes, but is not limited to:
   *  Phospherous content of Electroless Nickel
   *  Thin coatings of less than 1 u"
   *  Multiple layers measured for thickness
   *  Alloys of Gold, Steel, Copper, etc.
   *  Lead-Free Solder applications
