It is rare when an associate is interested in writing an entry for the XRF-Blog.  When it does happen it means there is big news or something important about an XRF Application or instrument. 

That means that the following is big news. 
Our XRF Sales Manager is excited to offer a Roenalytic XRF Analyzer for coating thickness measurements.  While this unit will be offered as a "Used XRF" it is not very used; it was a demonstration model that we have been able to obtain and decided to make available.  Eastern Applied service technicians have provided support to Roenalytic XRF in the past and found them to be excellent instruments for coating thickness applications...but I'll let the XRF Sales Manager tell you abou that in the following blog entry...

Eastern Applied Research, Inc. is proud to offer a Roenalytic XR-5000 Used XRF Analyzer.  This specific x-ray fluorescence system was manufactured with the PWB Industry in mind but can be used for many applications.  The chamber is a large slotted version to accommodate a variety of parts and still offers up to 7" of Z-axis travel.  We have serviced and continue to provide service for Roenalytic XRF's and it has been our experience that they provide excellent performance at an affordable price.

Most of the earlier versions, such as the Coatmaster and Maxxi-5, sold in the United States are still in operation.  More critical to the end-user, most have the original X-ray Tube and Power Supply.  Our impression of Roenalytic instruments is they generally outlast most other XRF's and provide years of trouble free operation.  Additionally, when a major component fails, all of the other components have not endured stress.  All of this makes the XR-5000 Coating Thickness Analyzer an exceptional value...visit our Used XRF Page for additional details or contact us to discuss your testing need.
