Benefits of XRF Analyzers
In talking to people we realize that many organizations don't understand the large number of benefits that having in-house x-ray fluorescence testing capabilities provide. Below is a brief listing of some benefits that make XRF Instruments an investment that adds value to an organization:
- Low initial costs compared to other analytical equipment
- Minimal upkeep and operational costs
- Non-destructive analysis
- Fast results (60 - 300 seconds)
- Accuracy and Repeatability
Also, by utilizing x-ray fluorescence as an in-house testing device, companies that previously sent samples to outside laboratories will receive additional benefits.
The benefits of in-house testing include:
- Increased turnaround and production output
- Ability/option to test every part
- Lowered long-term costs; an XRF pays for itself in these cases
- No hassle (or cost) of samples being shipped out for testing
- In-house control
Perhaps your organization utilizes in-house XRF analysis; if you have seen a benefit that others would find beneficial in their decision process; feel free to post a reply to this blog...
