Webinar Series Announced by Oxford Instruments

As a distributor of Oxford Instruments, Eastern Applied Research is pleased to announce the organizations upcoming webinar series.  The complimentary webinars have been developed to educate users (and future users) of x-ray fluorescence (XRF) on approaches and methods that will improve the implementation of the technology and help to maximize the return on investment.  Essential practices for quality control and compliance testing will be covered for a range of industries and provide attendees access to industry experts.

The first webinar in the series, “Sample Preparation Methods to Ensure Accurate X-ray Fluorescence Analysis”, will take place on Thursday, March 30th.  The webinar overview from the Oxford Instruments website reads “Sample preparation is the primary foundation to achieving accurate and consistent results when using both handheld and bench-top X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analyzers. Learn about best practices for measuring, simplification of processes, and how to avoid the common issues of cross contamination using multiple methods of sample preparation such as pressed pellets, x-ray film, sample cups, grinding, certification reference, and more.”

Future webinars in the series include:

June 6th: Minimize Global Supply Chain Risks, Save Money, and Increase Efficiencies by Implementing X-ray Fluorescence into Your Quality Control Program

June 27th: Positive Material Identification for Alloy Verification and Improved Safety

July 11th: X-Strata 980 for Improved Efficiencies of Electronic Material Analysis
