Oxford Instruments popular X-Met7000-series of Handheld XRF is the predecessor to the newest XMet8000 Handheld XRF analyzer.  One configuration from this series, the X-Met7500, remains for when the portable testing goal relates to soil, mining, or archeological applications.  Review the X-Met8000 for all other testing interests but for soil, mining, or archeological interests.
